Our Story

Founded by Tyler Papenfuss, our story begins with a childhood boy walking a lawn mower around the neighborhood. In 2011, we "officially" founded what is now South Central Landscapes. We're still based right where it all began in Cambridge, Wisconsin.

Our team has grown to a small group of six tenured professionals. Our emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship has solidified our award-winning reputation in the Madison area.
